How can we distinguish (BJT (NPN, PNP), FET (JFET (N channel, P-Channel) MOSFET and IGBT) between different types of transistors on a circuit board physically see?

You can not. All you can do is read the numbers and technical specifications for this part.
Another alternative is to find the outline of the PCB, and you may be able to tell the general classification of the room, but you still need the Datasheet.

In addition to the 2 answers above me, if I do not know which party the PCB, you can make a reasonable guess.
And then there's PCB is extremely rare with the actual number / description of the special section printed on the plate.

Other than seeking the number, can not say that only see through them. You could say that by measuring the forward and reverse resistance or voltage between the terminals.
