Check the connections to food. If you are stiff, you should use the cables inside the locomotive. Turn It Upside Down Remove the screws gently separate the body of the train and you see the cable. If it is then released, the locomotive is not running. Train miniature of a life.
Steve gave some good tips for troubleshooting ...
I am a rail-N and HO, and I'm still working on my contacts and keep Locomotive CLEAN! In the N-scale, with a rubber drive along the tracks to eliminate oxidation.
